The Great Northwest Challenge (GNC) is scheduled for June 28-29, 2025, at the Bozeman Sports Park Complex in Bozeman, Montana. This annual rugby tournament brings together over 50 teams from various State Youth Rugby Organizations (SYROs) to compete across multiple divisions
U15 Girls (7s) Open Division: This division allows both representative and club teams to participate in a 7-a-side format.
U16 Boys (15s) SYRO/State Teams Only: Exclusive to state or regional all-star teams, this division features traditional 15-a-side rugby.
U19 Girls (15s) SYRO/State Teams Only: Focused on older female athletes, this 15-a-side division is limited to SYRO or state teams.
U19 Boys (15s) SYRO/State Teams Only: This division showcases male athletes in the U19 category, with participation restricted to SYRO or state teams.
U23 Women's (15s) Open Division: An open division for women's teams with players under 23, competing in a 15-a-side format.
U23 Men's (15s) Open Division: Men's teams with players under 23 can participate in this open 15-a-side division.
In addition to the tournament, a USA Rugby Talent Identification Day is scheduled for June 27, 2025. This event offers aspiring athletes the opportunity to begin their journey toward joining USA Rugby Junior National Teams.
