THANK YOU FROM THE SOUTH TEXAS SPEED CLASSIC!

We would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to all of the athletes, parents, coaches, volunteers, officials, timing crew, vendors, concession workers, and supporters who came out and made the very first South Texas Speed Classic such a special event.

Despite the thunderstorm that hit right before the meet began, everyone showed incredible patience, understanding, and support as we worked through delays and schedule adjustments while keeping safety our top priority. We truly appreciate everyone working with us throughout the day.

To our athletes, thank you for bringing the energy, competitiveness, and excitement to the track.
To the parents and coaches thank you for your continued support and encouragement of these young athletes.

To our volunteers and staff thank you for stepping up and helping everything run as smoothly as possible.

A special thank you to Rio Grande City Parks and Recreation, RGCGISD, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make this event possible.

We are incredibly grateful for the support shown to the South Texas Speed Classic, and we hope to continue growing this event for the youth of South Texas for years to come.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible sports moms. The early morning drivers, the sideline cheerleaders, the snack packers, the uniform washers, the biggest believers, and the hearts behind every athlete’s journey.

Thank you for every sacrifice, every prayer, every word of encouragement, and every hug after the wins and losses. Your love, strength, and support shape not only great athletes, but even greater human beings.

The impact you make goes far beyond the field, court, track, or gym. Today we celebrate YOU! The moms who show up every single day with unconditional love and endless dedication.
