Don't miss the last day of BBQ Music Fest — happening TODAY, July 27! Tickets available at the gate!

One of this year's biggest highlights? Midway City’s incredible journey. Three events ago, he was a Amateur Backyard BBQ champ. Inspired by that success, he decided the following year to compete with the pitmasters. He simply wanted to test himself against the best. That year, he earned Reserve Grand Champion, taking second place.

Yesterday, he made history.
Midway City is now your Grand Champion, earning the first-ever perfect score from the judges.

Passion. Grit. BBQ greatness.

And the competition isn’t over. This year’s Reserve Champion, Califas Barbecue, has already vowed to come back and take the title next year.
