Norsk Høstfest has long been a celebration of Scandinavian heritage, community, and tradition. As part of that ongoing legacy, a dedicated committee has spent months working to ensure historically significant items are preserved with care and intention for future generations.

Numerous pieces have already been donated to organizations with similar missions, including the State Historical Society of North Dakota, the Fjord Festival in Minot, and Scandinavian Heritage Association collections.

Now, select items will have the opportunity to begin a new chapter through our auction, finding new homes where they can continue to be appreciated and enjoyed. Proceeds from the auction will support the Høstfest Heritage Foundation and its mission to carry forward the spirit and legacy of Norsk Høstfest.

For more than 40 years, the Norsk Høstfest brought us together in celebration of heritage, music, food, and friendship. A small collection of 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗛ø𝘀𝘁𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲 remains in our online store, some of the final items bearing the Høstfest name. Supplies are limited and will not be restocked.

A message to our Høstfest family. 🤍

For nearly 50 years, Norsk Høstfest has been a home for Scandinavian tradition. As we look toward the future, we have decided to end the festival following our 2025 event.

While the festival is ending, the spirit of Høstfest lives on through the Scandinavian Heritage Association (SHA). Please read our full press release below for more details on this transition and how you can stay involved in keeping our heritage alive.
