Nokomis Naturescape The Nokomis Naturescape - original site of the Minneapolis Monarch Festival - is a 4 acre native planting on Lake Nokomis, installed in 1998.

Demonstration gardens are maintained by volunteers. Grow Monarch Habitat is an outreach program since 2007.

At the site for the Minneapolis Monarch Festival setting up our Home Grown Native Plant Habitat tents for tomorrow. We enjoyed the good omen of a monarch migration roost on the grounds!
