MAIN CAST: AFRICAN AMERICAN TALENT NEEDED ASAP

1) Sunday 9/29/24 1 - 5 PM Auditions will be held at TCFF *Chemistry reads between actors will be held at this time as well*

2) Donna will make a casting decision by Monday 9/30/24 and communicate out to cast

3) Saturday 10/5/24 table read will be held with the selected cast from 1 - 3 PM location is TBD *Wardrobe fitting as well as skin test for SFX Make up will take place during this time* Cast pictures will also be taken for prop family photos for the shoot.

4) The Shoot will take place on Saturday 11/9/24 from approximately 9 AM - 7 PM exact call times for the actors will be published closer to the shooting day.

5) I will send sides for the actors to use during the audition shortly so they can feel prepared.

MAIN CAST: AFRICAN AMERICAN TALENT NEEDED ASAP

1. Esther –an African American Woman in her 40s is a mother who embraces and an down to earth but anger bubbles under the surface as she turns to vigilantism to avenge her massacred family. (This role will require implied Hoo Doo Magical rituals)

2. Jimmy – An African American Man in 40s and Esther’s husband. He has successfully managed to escape his humble beginnings and build a life with his wife and two kids. But a family curse has caused him to come back to confront the ghost of his father, and he finds

himself fighting what he thought he had already escaped. (This role will require SFX makeup on the back and will require a shirtless scene)

3. Chris – is an African American teenage boy age 12-14, is Esther and Jimmy’s oldest son. He is intuitive and sweet and wants to keep his family together and protect his younger brother from the curse that is taking hold of his family. (This role will require SFX makeup on the back and will require a shirtless scene)

4. Alex - is an African American teenage boy age 10 - 12, is the youngest child of Esther and Jimmy. He adores his older brother Chris. Alex doesn’t understand what is happening in his family but wants to enjoy all the campfire fun with his Grandfather.

5. Dillon – is an African American Male in his 60s. He was raised on the farm in the Jim Crow South and was hard on his son Jimmy, because that is what his father taught him and what he knew. He can be charming and spin a good yarn, but his charm has a bite to it, and it leaves marks.

Hello Family, Friends and Community!

I was recruited by the Osseo Lions in September 2018, one month after opening THE MODEL BOUTIQUE & CO. where the Lion's Roar was being held right out front! Well, it's that time of year again for our Annual Lions Roar coming up this Friday & Saturday Sept. 9-10th.
