We are a non-profit club that tries to engage all levels in Norwegian music and dance traditions. Live musicians (Char Bostrom and Art Bjørngeld) and dance instruction (Carol Sersland) at every meeting. We also host public events such as the Nordic Ball (usually in February) which is hosted by each group in turn, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish and sometimes Finnish! The Festival of Nations in May is a chance for all ethnic dance groups to showcase their traditions. Many of our members dance with all of the Nordic countries groups - Swedish, Danish, and Finnish!

Join us for an evening of Nordic Dance this Sunday!

Martha Olsen will lead Danish dances to the live music of Ballade, followed by a second half featuring local favorites, including singing for dancing!

Whether you’re a longtime dancer or curious to try something new, come enjoy an evening of music, dance, and community!

October 12th we'll be dancing again! We're looking forward to seeing you - all who joined in last season and to those who were thinking about it but couldn't fit it in your schedule. We'll review previous dances and we'll introduce new dances (or dances that may not be familiar to all dancers) (I'm thinking Vestlandspringar and Finnskogs pols, as two examples). Bring your shoes that are good for pivoting and some water and we'll supply the music and great attitudes! here's some of us from last May to welcome you this October!

Nordic Dance this Thursday Norway House from 5-7. Thor Anderson will be there with his accordion and Kari Tauring will teach and sing and play flutes for dancing!

November and December will be singing and dancing Jultrefest style outside around the pinecone! :)
