Family photos BEFORE the ceremony. 📸

Couples are getting more intentional about where their time goes on their wedding day.

One shift we're seeing is taking family photos before the ceremony so that once “I do” happens, couples can actually join cocktail hour, greet their guests, and spend more of the celebration with the people they invited.

Pair that with smaller guest lists, and the day starts to feel less like trying to make it around a room and more like actually spending time together.

We're seeing couples look beyond the traditional checklist when choosing a wedding venue.

They want a space that feels distinctive and gives their celebration its own personality, but they're also thinking more about what the day will feel like for their guests.

Comfort, convenience, easy transitions, and spaces where people actually want to gather are becoming just as important as how the venue photographs.

At FIVE, we love seeing the guest experience become part of the venue decision from the very beginning.

Welcome signs, florals, and décor at the entrance set the tone for your entire event.

If getting married in 2026 is the goal, don't assume you've missed your chance.

FIVE Event Center still has select dates available and can accommodate couples planning on a shorter timeline.

A beautiful wedding doesn't require years of planning—it requires the right space, the right vendors, and a plan that keeps things moving.

Your 2026 wedding could be closer than you think.

One of the simplest ways to elevate your guest experience has nothing to do with décor or entertainment—it's communication.

A clear schedule of events helps guests know what to expect throughout the day, from cocktail hour and dinner to speeches and dancing. When everyone knows where to be and what's coming next, the celebration feels more relaxed, organized, and enjoyable for everyone involved.

It's a small detail that's easy to overlook, but it plays a big role in keeping the day flowing smoothly and allowing guests to focus on what really matters: celebrating with you.

The best events aren't just beautiful—they're thoughtfully planned from beginning to end.

A few thoughtfully placed pictures can do something expensive décor can't: immediately make the room personal.

Create a photo wall, add framed memories to the welcome table, display family wedding photos, or scatter snapshots throughout the space.

Guests get something to look at, talk about, and connect with—and suddenly the venue feels unmistakably yours.

No matter how much you plan, there's one thing no couple can control: the weather.

The good news? You don't have to let it define your wedding day.

At FIVE Event Center, your celebration stays comfortable indoors, giving you the freedom to focus on what truly matters—celebrating with the people you love. There's no scrambling for a last-minute backup plan or stressing over the forecast. Just a beautiful space where your day can unfold exactly as you've envisioned.

Rain, snow, sunshine, or anything in between, the memories you make inside will always outshine what's happening outside.

Wedding days fill up quickly with getting ready, photos, family, greetings, and all the little moments in between. Eating and drinking water can easily become an “I’ll do it later” thing.

Plan for it instead. Give yourself time for breakfast, keep snacks and water nearby, and actually sit down for your meal.

You’ll enjoy the day a whole lot more when you’re not running on adrenaline alone.

One of the most meaningful moments on your wedding day won't be on the timeline—it's the conversations you have with the people who came to celebrate you.

As the day flies by, it's easy to get caught up in photos, dancing, and the schedule. But taking a few moments to visit each table, share a hug, or simply thank your guests for being there creates memories that last long after the celebration ends.

Your guests traveled, planned, and showed up to be part of one of the biggest days of your life. Those personal interactions make them feel appreciated, and they'll remember them just as much as you will.

The flowers, décor, and details help create a beautiful wedding—but it's the moments of genuine connection that make it amazing.
