Boundless / Sin límites is coming to Pillsbury House Theatre, June 4 – 14! Created by our friends at All at Once.

All at Once is a Twin Cities–based collective of visionary puppeteers of color — Sofía Padilla, Oanh Vu (also PUPPET LAB Co-Artistic Directors), Andrew Young, and Erica Warren — creating immersive performances through shadow, tabletop, and rod puppetry.

Developed through story circles with BIPOC South Minneapolis residents, Boundless / Sin límites follows Sol, a young person sheltering in place from ICE who is swept into a time-traveling journey by Coyote, a trickster deity. Moving through layered Southside histories, the work explores migration, identity, memory, and community connection through myth, visual storytelling, and live performance.

liz HOWLS and Drew Simpson pull inspiration from multi-level marketing, health and wellness culture, Mad About You, relentless pharmaceutical commercials and abhorrent technological “advancements” to create a surreal garbage world full of glitches, easy listening and flat, functional lighting. It’s like a trip to the dentist without all of the annoying paperwork and anesthesia.
