Thank you to everyone who ordered from my overstock of Ghost Pepper jam...I'm SOLD OUT!! I am trying to sell my business...hopefully when the world settles down it will workout. I have had so many inquiries about my jam since I retired...thank you! Although the stores are sold-out. I do have extra inventory of the Ghost Pepper flavor. You may purchase Ghost Pepper directly through me ($5.00 a jar) or Hackenmueller's Meats ($6.99) in Robbinsdale. It's a great gift/stocking stuffer...food is always a welcomed gift! If you are not familiar with my Ghost Pepper jam, it is nowhere near as hot as ghost pepper's reputation; mine has great flavor and will not ruin your day! A quick note to say I hope everyone is doing as well as possible in these "interesting" times. And because I have had so many inquiries about my jam since I retired, I'm passing the word that I do have extra inventory of the Ghost Pepper flavor only if anyone is interested. I'm offering it well below what the stores were charging. The Holidays are approaching and Pam's Pepper Jam makes a great gift/stocking stuffer. Food is always , I think, a welcomed gift... especially now when our entertainment options are so limited. If you are not familiar with my Ghost Pepper jam, it is nowhere near as hot as it's reputation; it has great flavor and will not overwhelm your taste buds. Happy New Year! Associated with a new year is the belief in new possibilities.With that said, I'm going to give retirement a shot. My business is closing down. I have been trying to sell it the last year. The latest interested party just said "pass," hence the official announcement. My co-packers (a company that produces your product for you) are closing their business due to a serious illness. I've decided I'm too old to start over and I'm tired. I've known this time would eventually arrive and I wrote down some thoughts I wanted to share. People I wanted to thank for helping me over the years. When I got to page 4, and nowhere near done, I decided that probably wasn't the best approach.

THANK YOU to everyone who helped me dice, chop, load/unload (and repeat again and again) for Farmers Markets & Festivals, did demos for me, took me out to eat, and who listened to me complain about being so overwhelmed. And of course, thank you to all the people who bought my jam...you are the reason I made it for nine years with a final count of 210 stores and several restaurants. Your support of small local businesses makes a huge impact on our success. Please continue to keep that in mind when you're shopping. Each sale counts, a lot.They work so hard, money is very tight, it is a 24/7 commitment with personal sacrifices. I have met so many great small business owners over the years and we all support each. Ok, I'm getting close to page 2.

Happy Labor Day Weekend! It's going to be a beautiful weekend for doing anything, like apple picking! Luceline Orchard, in Watertown, is opening for the season Sat. Aug 31. Checkout their website (lucelineorchard.com) for not only hours but for all the free admission events they have going on.

They carry Pam's Pepper Jam and I will be giving free samples at two of their upcoming events: Sept.7 there will be Bluegrass music (5:30) with Star Gazing (7:45 hosted by WCCO Mike Lynch) (I will be there at 3:00), and Sat. Sept. 14 the Raptor Center will introduce a few of their birds from 1:00 to 5:00 (I will be there at 10:30 AM). I'm personally looking forward to both events! Please join us if you can...it's a beautiful orchard with lots of extras (food, animals, hayrides, etc.).

Memorial Day Weekend is approaching and isn't it a relief to be back outside in our yards, cabins and boats and getting together with family and friends again?!! After this winter, we have earned every moment of nice weather!

We're going to need good, pretty and easy hors d' oeuvres for get togethers and gifts...Pam's Pepper Jam is the perfect choice.
