We’re so excited to host our very first Social Hour in Boston! 💛

Join us in two weeks at Samuel Adams Brewery (JP) for an evening of good drinks, great company, and a little D&D magic. Whether you want to settle in with some colored pencils and a beholder coloring sheet, swap stories and tips with fellow Game Masters, or jump into one of our quick encounters, there’ll be something for every kind of adventurer. Especially brand new ones!

More than anything, we’re looking forward to building community, meeting new faces, and creating a welcoming space for tabletop lovers of all experience levels.

And who knows… if enough adventurers and GMs gather with us, this could be the beginning of regular monthly Dragons Dungeons & Drinks one-shot adventure nights in Boston. ✨

Starting Tuesday, June 9th, Dragons Dungeons & Drinks is officially launching our monthly D&D Social Hour at the legendary Samuel Adams Boston Brewery in Jamaica Plain.

No experience needed. No campaign commitment. Just good drinks, good people, and a welcoming space to meet fellow nerds, storytellers, roleplayers, and future party members.

Jesse and I enjoyed going to Minneapolis to help out our friends at Dragons Dungeons & Drinks 🐉 🧙‍♂️ 🍺 Nothing like having a few drinks and laminating on a Friday night 😉🤣 Thank you, Renee and Marcus for making us feel super welcome.

I’ve watched the footage more times than I can count this week.

The first few times, I could only see what was gone.

Now I keep thinking about what happened after.

Within minutes of sharing our story, people started showing up. Messages. Donations. Offers to laminate. People volunteering printers, tokens, time, and pizza for rebuilding nights. Strangers who had never met us saying “How can I help?”

I genuinely don’t think I’ve fully processed it yet.

Here’s the thing about those binders and character sheets: I wasn’t grieving the dollar amount. I was grieving the Saturday afternoons. The volunteers who sat around brewery tables laminating pages because they believed a stranger walking into their first D&D night deserved something beautiful to hold. That’s what was in those boxes.

And then you reminded me that it’s all still here. In every one of you.

The footage shows someone carrying our materials out in seconds.

What it doesn’t show is the hundreds of people who immediately stepped forward to help carry us afterward.

That’s the part I’ll always remember. And be forever grateful.

Because of this community, we didn’t just replace what was stolen — we’re rebuilding bigger than before. The GoFundMe is still open, and every dollar beyond that first milestone now goes toward something we’ve been working toward for years: publishing our Season One adventures as a real book, and seeding our Nation-wide expansion starting in Boston this June.
