Come step into your fate where elegance meets the stars, and everyone gets to be the main character. ✨

If your outfit requires a fake weapon/sword/etc, we require you to check in with our Help Desk before entering the Masquerade so we can have a team member from Security clear your weapon for safety purposes.

Dressing Up encouraged but not required!

You will be able to purchase Day Tickets at the event, though! Our Registration Team will get you set up onsite!

💫 Must Have Items for Midwest Bookish Fest 2026! 💫

Is this your first signing event? Have you ever been to a convention before? We got you covered!

- Portable Battery Charger - Keep those phones charged while walking around!
- Neck Fan - Listen... sometimes being around people... it gets hot! Keep yourself cool!
- Snacks - Keep yourself energized by bringing snacks or purchasing from the Hotel.
- Water Bottle - HYDRATION! We will have many water refill stations around the event spaces so you can stay hydrated!
- Post-It Notes & Fancy Sharpies - Want to have an author sign your book with a certain colored sharpie or pen? It's best to bring it with in case they don't have that on hand! Writing your name & personalization (if any) on a Post-It note to place inside a book you bring will be easier and faster for the author to sign your book exactly how you'd like it!
- Clear Shipping Labels - You can use clear shipping labels as BOOK PLATES!
- Medicine/Tylenol/Advil/Etc - This is important in case you get hit with a headache in the middle of the day!
- Portable/Collapsible Stool - We don't expect long lines and we do have ample seating within the hotel, but it's always handy to have a spot to sit anywhere! We know there are carts that can also double as seats, too!
- Hand Sanitizer & Masks - Always best to have on hand!
- Baggies - A great place to hold all the stickers you're definitely going to get!
- Book Cart - So important to save yourself the ache of carrying your books! Check out our rules for a book cart in the next slide!
