From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to the mustang community for the outpouring of kind words, memories, and love you’ve shared about Stormy. Every message, comment, and story has meant more to our family than we can ever properly express. In the middle of a heartbreaking time, your words have brought comfort, tears, smiles, and a sense of connection.
I want everyone to know how much my dad truly loved the work he did, the events, and—most of all—the people. The mustang community wasn’t just something he was involved in; it was something he believed in. He cared deeply about the relationships built along the way. The joy and purpose he found in this work were real, and they mattered to him.
I miss him more than I can put into words, and will I miss the work we did together. But I am also incredibly grateful for the 15+ years we were able to share at these events, working side by side, creating memories that will stay with me forever. Doing this work with him, and with all of you, was truly one of the great privileges of my life.
Just as Stormy made an impact on so many of you, each of you impacted him in the same way. He carried those friendships, conversations, and experiences with him, and he was proud to be part of this community.
Thank you for honoring him, for surrounding our family with so much love, and for reminding us how meaningful his life and work truly were.
— Kali 💛
