AND THE WINNER IS (cue drumroll)...

Congratulations to Farnoosh Abedi, Director of Holy Heaveness and winner of this year’s CAFF International Short Film Festival. Farnoosh is an award-winning Iranian filmmaker and Holy Heaveness is a stunning animation capturing the impact of grief.

VENUE UPDATE:

Just to be on the safe and in case there’s anymore tornados planning on making an appearance, we’re relocating our Made in Mineral Wells showcase tonight from 50 Year Club to the Brazos Cinema.

We can’t wait to share these amazing short films on the big screen and want to say a big thanks to our sponsors at the movie theater for making this happen at such short notice.

CAFF 2025 has officially begun! We were delighted to kick things off earlier today with the world premiere of “Crazy Dreams”, a short film by Travis Elementary - Mineral Wells 6th graders.

The movie captures their hopes and crazy dreams for the future and these amazing young filmmakers made it just one day during a recent field trip to Downtown Mineral Wells.

We had a great time creating it with them and hope we get a similar response to all of our screenings this weekend!
