“You won't hear many better examples of contemporary piping." FolkWorld ☘👇

This week's Irish Fest Artist Spotlight is Conor Mallon Music!

Conor Mallon returns to Irish Fest this August with an all-star lineup of musicians following the success of his debut album, "Unearthed."

The debut solo album released in May 2023 has already received international plaudits as it was nominated for a German Critics Award and the Prestigious NI Music Prize shortly after release and most recently won ‘Album of the Year’ for the Ireland Tonight Music award in Chicago.

Conor has performed at many festivals in Ireland, Europe and North America including the William Kennedy Piping festival, Piping Live, Celtic Connections, and Edinburgh Fringe and has toured extensively on his own, with his band Connla, Comhaltas and with the prestigious worldwide show, Irish Celtic.

Conor Mallon and his band will perform August 14, 15, and 16.

Irish Fest Lineup Spotlight ⭐️ O'Jizo

✈️ From Japan to Wisconsin

Formed in 2008, O'Jizo plays both traditional arrangements and original compositions. Featuring the Irish wooden flute and the Irish tin whistle, their sound is layered with combinations of the piano accordion, bouzouki, guitar, and mandolin.

Irish Fest Artist Spotlight ⭐ Cailíní Lua

Cailíní Lua will make their debut at Irish Fest this August, and we cannot wait for you all to see them!

The multi-instrumentalist group has quickly become known for their lively performances, offering a fresh, modern approach to traditional Irish music, song, and dance.

The all-female trad group formed in Killaloe, County Clare, Ireland and is made up of sisters Laura and Katie Donoghue, along with Tara Brady and Eibhlín Gallagher.

Cailíní Lua will perform all four days of the festival as part of Irish Fest’s partnership with TradFest Dublin! ☘🥳
