- While PrideFest Milwaukee is only a three-day festival, we are excited to engage with our LGBT community on a year-round basis through Facebook. We enjoy sharing news about our organization, our community, and our world with you every day of the year.

- Please note that our community manager is empowered to remove off-topic, disrespectful, inappropriate, offensive, unrelated,

repetitive or "spam" content from our page at any time. This first removal of content is considered a First Warning. If inappropriate postings continue after a FIrst Warning, we will notify the user that they are in violation of our comment policy and may be banned from our community if they continue. This is considered a Second Warning. After comment removal and policy warnings have been issued, we reserve the right to report and/or ban Facebook users from our page who continue to violate our community guidelines. Direct attacks on any individual will result in an immediate ban from the page and a report to Facebook. As an organization that promotes acceptance and understanding of LGBT culture and community, we will not tolerate hostility at any time. Get ready to be in awe of the amazing vocal talents of Shaun J. Wright! 🤯🎤

Born and raised in West suburban Chicagoland, Shaun J. Wright spent most of their teen years immersed in the sounds of house music. Their love for dance music expanded throughout their high school years as they partook in the underground dance scene now globally known as Juke. While in undergrad at Morehouse College in Atlanta, they developed their skills as a dancer/voguer in professional dance companies and the ballroom scene. After acquiring an MA Fashion Curation, from the London College of Fashion, Wright enjoyed an active career in fashion in New York City. That is where they met Andrew Butler, founder of Hercules and Love Affair, and began a whirlwind collaboration with the ensemble as a vocalist. Currently, Wright is exhilarating dance floors worldwide as a dj and is featured on several acclaimed releases with Stereogamous, Bell Boys, Bobmo, Kiki, Alinka, and System of Survival with more stellar collaborations on the horizon. Catch Shaun for their “What It Is…” night for some deep and highly danceable tunes.

Let’s be real, it wouldn’t be Milwaukee Pridefest without DJ SHAWNA! 🏳️‍🌈🔥🎧🎶

DJ Shawna,m has marked her territory on both national and global stages. Previously a professional athlete, Shawna's journey was always underscored by an enduring relationship with music.

As her athletic career wound down, the allure of music was always there. Shawna swapped her sports gear for a turntable, creating a fresh crossroad of her dual passions: music and sports.

In addition to her role as Official DJ and Producer for the Milwaukee Bucks, her career highlights also include rocking the NBA Bubble as an official DJ, setting the rhythm for three NBA All-Star games, and sharing in the euphoria of a World Championship victory.

Expanding her influence beyond the NBA, Shawna also enlivens the NCAA Women's Final Four and the 2020 Ryder Cup as the official DJ. She’s been fortunate to be the opening act for a diverse array of popular artists such as Lizzo, Ani DeFranco, Shaq (also known as DJ Diesel), and Jonas Blue, to name a few.

There’s SO much to do at Pridefest 2026 on Friday night… but you definitely don’t want to miss Jake Wesley Rogers, who will be headlining on the Skyyline MainStage! 🎤🔥

Discovered by songwriter Justin Tranter in 2020, Rogers began his path to stardom the following year when Apple Music’s Zane Lowe premiered “Middle of Love” and called him “wildly talented.” That opinion was soon shared by countless tastemakers including People, Billboard, American Songwriter, Paper, and Vogue. He then made a whole new army of fans with the release of 2021’s Pluto EP, a run of North American tour dates supporting Panic! At
the Disco, and unforgettable performances on Good Morning America, The Late Late Show with James Corden, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Late Night with Seth Meyers.

In 2022, Rogers shared his Love EP, which included numerous standout tracks such as “Lavender Forever,” “Hindsight,” and “Dark Bird.” In 2023, he hit the road to support Kesha on her North American tour, releasing the healing anthem “Window around that time. Now, with
“God Bless,” “Loser,” and an entire album’s worth of new music on the horizon, Rogers returns to his mission of sharing a message of love, defiance, and – most importantly – hope.

DJ MEL-DOWN is one of Milwaukee’s most prominent q***r female DJs. Known for her high-energy sets, she frequently performs at local events like PrideFest Milwaukee. She regularly spins a diverse mix ranging from 2000s throwbacks and R&B to Latin nights and party jams.
