Since becoming a teacher, Crystal has had the vision of bringing yoga to anyone, anywhere, at anytime! As an avid traveler and having a nomadic soul, she knew that leading others through their practice would eventually travel away form the studio and in

to the wide-open world. The birth of the studio was fast-tracked when the global pandemic caused by COVID-19 turned the whole world upside down, leaving so many people to adjust to a new “normal”. With a strong drive to stay active in her drive for creation, Crystal got to work immediately. She found the best possible way to deliver all the quality and care her students had become accustomed to, right into their homes. Once the platform was established, there was nothing holding her back from getting on the mat and putting it all out there! With the help of some close friends and Soma Yoga Institute, Legato Yoga gathered a team of expert and authentic instructors who were ready and willing to share their gifts. Today, the studio and its team are working hard to provide yoga that is affordable, safe, and individualized in a way that creates a genuine human connection. The Legato Collective is growing and is helping people from around the country with their physical practice and mental well-being. The studio has even been able to give away over 75 yoga classes! Legato Collective is buzzing with anticipation and joy! Every member and instructor is dedicated to the Legato Yoga mission and Crystal is overwhelmed with gratitude and joy for all of them!

💢I have absolutely NO love for "new year resolutions".
🎉It's that time of year where folks begin to think about how they want the next year of their lives to go. While I fully support growth and change, I do NOT support the process of resolutions. Here's why:
💢 #1. Resolutions are RIGID. They demand that we done thing or another, without wavering for a determined amount of time.
💢 #2. This lack of ability to shift and adapt a new ANYTHING to fir with our best self is not conducive to life-long or sustainable changes.
💢 #3. Resolutions causes far too much discouragement and frustrations as you work toward new goals and can often lead to us setting resolutions that are unhealthy in our mind and body.
❓What to do instead?
🎉SET INTENTIONS! Why?
✨ #1. Intentions allow us flexibility to seek out what we're truly wanting from life. We can ask ourselves the tough questions and set a path towards growth.
✨ #2. With this mentality, you allow yourself to discover if what you're seeking actually serves your best self or if it comes from a space that doesn't actually promote the incredible being you already are.
✨ #3. You may also find that what you've been searching for or trying to achieve is actually NOT something you want/need or you may unlock a while new perspective on your journey towards your most authentic SELF.
