The race tomorrow will happen rain or shine. Obviously we will delay the start if thunderstorms are nearby (storms at Arrowhead tend to speed through and not linger). Our volunteers have designed a fun trail loop for this year's participants.

Same-day registration will open tomorrow at 5pm at Arrowhead Golf Course. Race starts at 6pm.

Join us in just 1 week for the Milton Freedom 5k, Saturday June 29th at the Arrowhead Golf Course. 6PM race start, with check-in & same-day registration opening at 5.

If you would like to preview the course, join the weekly trail racing series at Arrowhead this coming Monday. All speeds are welcome. $5, check in at the clubhouse 5:15-5:45.

Milton Freedom 5k tech shirts will be available for sale for $20 (youth-XXL sizes) on the evening of the race. If you are unable to join us on June 29 but would like to support the Freedom Scholarship fund, shirts may be purchased during business hours at Exit 18 Equipment in Georgia.

Here is an overhead course map of the Milton Freedom 5K, to be held Saturday June 29. Runners will have a choice of the full 5K or a single-loop 2.5k. Other race details, including online pre-registration, are available at www.miltonfreedom5k.com.

Registration is now open for the 2019 Milton Freedom 5K Run/Walk. The race will be held on the XC trails of the Arrowhead Golf Course in Milton, on Saturday June 29th 2019.

On-site registration will open at 5pm, and the 5k starts at 6pm. Race proceeds benefit the Milton Freedom scholarship fund.

2 days until the Freedom 5k! Full race details and pre-registration are available at miltonfreedom5k.com.

The aerial map below details the 5k course at Arrowhead Golf Course. Those choosing the 3k option will complete 1 loop in the woods, while 5k'ers will loop twice before returning to the start/finish area near the clubhouse.

We will have plenty of cool refreshments, including a water station on the course. Remember that the fluids you drink two hours before a hot race help more than the water bottle you carry during it.

We anticipate a large crowd for this event. If you plan to register on-site, arrive by 5:30 to give yourself time to check in and be ready for the 6pm start-time.

Our 2018 event is just one weekend away! On-site registration opens Saturday at 5pm at the Arrowhead Golf Course on Murray Avenue. 5k run/walk starts at 6pm.

Pre-registration is available at www.miltonfreedom5k.com.

Event tech shirts will be available for sale for $20.

All proceeds from the race (registration fees, shirt sales, and business donations) will benefit the 2019 Freedom Scholarship fund. The scholarship is presented annually to a Milton High School student recognized for excellence on the running teams and in the classroom.

More than just a 5k, this will be an evening of family fun! Following the race everyone is invited to the clubhouse for live music, food & drinks, a bake sale, and a raffle open to all runners.

On Monday evening Milton High School held an awards ceremony for its graduating senior class. Mike Ferro was presented the 2018 Milton Freedom scholarship.

Mike was selected by his coaches following four years of excellence on the school's XC and track teams. He served as a co-captain on this year's indoor state championship team. He also ran impressive qualifying times in the 1500 and 3000 meter events.

Mike plans to start at UVM in the fall.
