This will be Morgan’s 9th summer at Highlander and we are so excited for him to be a part of camp in a whole new way! As a part of our leadership team!

Morgan will help bring the fun to Evening Programs and help mentor our CITs while they’re here this summer! We are so excited for him to be here!!!

Father Son Weekend 2026 ✅

Camp Highlander summer 2026 is officially underway and we are so thankful to have opened the summer with such a fun weekend! Father son weekend is an action pack weekend filled with friendly competition, fun activities, amazing staff, & intentional time together!

Thank you, Fathers & Sons for bringing the energy to our mountain home once again!! We are already counting down the days until next spring when you’re back!!!

What’s next? Our ropes course & lifeguard team is here for training & Family Camp Weekend starts Friday! The summer fun has officially begun!! 👏👏👏

New this year…new campfire!

The heart of camp. The place where each session begins and ends. The home of some of our oldest and most cherished traditions.

It’s a place where generations of campers and alumni have shared their favorite songs and memories. And we are thrilled to transform this space into something great for many generations to come.

We can’t wait for you to be here, see it in person, & for us to sing “Going Home” together once again ❤️🪵🔥🌟

Camp is ready to welcome you!! 🌲 The rhododendrons are blooming, summer sunsets are on the horizon, and our front gate is looking much brighter with our freshly planted flowers thanks to our neighbors at the Mills River Fire Department & their flower fundraiser this past weekend! 🌸(Huge shoutout to Emily for her green thumb and help with planting them! 🌱)
