The Maine Association of Agricultural Fairs (MAAF), representing the twenty-five (25) Maine agricultural fairs, issues the following statement regarding the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the agriculture community.
The safety of our fair partners, participants, guests and community is and always will be the highest priority in producing our annual fairs. After meeting for several weeks with fair presidents (and their representatives), our Maine Fairs have been forced to make difficult decisions.

The fair was scheduled for July 31- August 8, 2020, but due to concerns over COVID 19 and the very high level of uncertainty about what the next few months will hold; it was decided to cancel.
