Our hearts are heavy as we report the passing of long time Millersport Sweet Corn Festival supporter Gary Reinschell. Gary brought the "power" to the festival every year, he was a proud supporter for over 20 years. Gary was seen in the bucket truck many times, assisting our Festival Electrician Adam Keller. We will miss Gary dearly!

Help our Corporate Sponsor! Lakebound Pizza

Today will be a weird sad day. Wednesday mornings are dough making, product delivery, chopping of fresh veggies, getting the shop set up for the week 🥺🍕

The fire is still under investigation. We have not been able to access the full damage and predict a timeline of reopening. We are hoping to hear something early next week.

We want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers, offers of help, hugs, listening ears & selfless donations! You are the reason we love doing this and it means the world to us to know we have such amazing people in our corner.

Some have asked and yes, there is a GoFund me that was set up by our friend and avid lover of our hot honey pizza 😉 I have included the poster he made. Please do not feel obligated to contribute, we will take all the good thoughts and prayers over anything! The funds will be used to pay for the bills that will continue while we are closed and the remaining will go towards replacing what was lost.

Neighbors helping Neighbors, that is what the Millersport Community stands for!

Hometown Hotdogs Millersport 🌭 stepped in to help Corporate Sponsor Lakebound Pizza yesterday after Lakebound cooked our pizza 🍕 a little longer than we wanted (joking) BUT the good news is, no one was hurt and Lakebound will be just fine! Thank you Hometown Hotdogs 🌭 for being such an amazing top dog!

A message from our Queen Reagan Dingess:

I would like to sincerely thank the Millersport Sweet Corn Festival Committee for giving me the incredible honor of being crowned the 2026 Millersport Sweet Corn Festival Queen.

I am so grateful for this opportunity and for everyone who made this experience so special. The amount of time, hard work, and dedication that goes into making the Sweet Corn Festival such a wonderful tradition is truly amazing, and I feel so lucky to now be a part of it.

Being chosen as this year's Sweet Corn Queen is something I will always remember and cherish. I am excited to represent Millersport, meet so many new people, and be involved in the festival throughout the coming year.

I am especially excited to return next year as we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Millersport Sweet Corn Festival! I cannot wait to help celebrate this incredible milestone and continue the traditions that make this festival so special.

Thank you again for believing in me and for giving me an experience I will never forget. I am truly honored and so excited for everything this year has in store.

With love and gratitude,

Reagan Dingess

Nice!

A big thank you to Jeanette Curtis, Executive Director of Fairfield County 2-1-1, for making these amazing magnets. We are one community with the same goal. We Care. We Listen. We Connect. This is the start of a project that I hope will continue to grow far outside of Millersport. We can boast of having a relatively low crime rate, but not all calls for service are criminal. The Village of Millersport Police Department is here to be a central hub of information in collaboration with Fairfield County ADAMH and Fairfield County 2-1-1, and to be a direct line to connect you with the resources you need. Please reach out. Please allow us to listen. Your story is captivating. Don't let it end today.
