Meet your 2026 grand marshal, Frank Hines!

We’re sure you all know Frank but if not, let us introduce you! Born and raised in Milford the son of Fred and Arlene Hines, he was joined by siblings Sue, Fred, and Marty. He continues to reside in Milford with his wife, Karry, with whom he shares daughters Emily and Jessica.

Along with Milford Grade School and Milford High School, he attended Danville Area Community College. Today, you can find him working with his brother Fred at Hines Automotive.

He has and continues to serve on many committees and boards that contribute to our community! These include past President of Milford Jaycees, former trustee of the Village of Milford, past President of the Illiana Pullers Association, Milford ESDA, current chief of the Milford Fire Department, EMT on the Milford Ambulance Service, and Vice President of the Eastern Illinois Mutual Aid Association.

We are grateful for all the time Frank spends giving back to our community. He is truly a great role model for those looking to get involved and give back to the people and the place that raised them. We are honored to call him our 2026 Milford Fun Days grand marshal! If you see him out and about, give him a big congratulations!! Thank you for all you do, Frank!

Join us as we kick off this year’s Backyard Bash with an exciting lineup of live music.

Opening the event Friday night is Logan Kirby.

The fun continues Saturday with local favorite Hayden Courville, followed by Kolten Taylor and the Truck Toppers.

Admission is $10 per night.
Only 21+ in the beer tent.

‼️CASH BASH TICKETS ARE HERE‼️

If you purchased one last year and provided your address, letters will be going out this week. Anyone can also purchase a ticket by getting ahold of a committee member (Devon Birch, Zach & Libbie Woodby, or Eric & Stepheny Bell) or messaging our page.

As a reminder, the cash bash will be on April 4 from 2-6pm at Town & Country in Milford. Tickets are $100 each and admit two people. Must be 21+ to enter. Food by Woodby’s Catering.

It may only be December, but planning is already underway for the 2026 Milford Fun Days! Mark your calendars for June 26 and 27th and come join us at our “Backyard Bash.”

We are so excited to bring back some of your favorite activities, introduce new ones, & hopefully revive some long lost ones! Stay tuned for updates and to learn how the committee can use your support in making Fun Days a success.

Another date to make note of is April 4. Our cash bash will be held at Town & Country Events in Milford from 2p-6p. Ticket sales start in January.
