The Hispanic Cultural Center of Midland, Inc. (HCCMidland), in collaboration with Midland Park Mall, is excited to host the annual Día de los Mu***os Celebration on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Midland Park Mall (4511 N Midkiff Rd.)

The Day of the Dead (el Día de los Mu***os), is a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that includes food, drink and celebration. The annual rite features trees of life, skeletons, altars and other trappings of death, but the ancient holiday celebrates life in its embrace of death.

We warmly invite your organization to participate in this vibrant cultural event by decorating a "Tree of Lives" (Árbol de Vidas) or setting up an Altar. Please note, we have limited undecorated trees available, so we encourage you to submit your registration as soon as possible. Participation is completely free, and to help with decorations, we will provide your group with a $50 gift card. This is a wonderful opportunity to be creative and celebrate the tradition with your own unique touch!

Tree decorating will take place between October 21st and 27th, with scheduling available by calling 432-694-1663 to arrange a time and tour the space. Altars will be set up on the morning of Sunday, November 1st.
In addition, we invite your organization to join us at the celebration itself. The event will feature delicious refreshments at the food court. Folklorico dance performances, and the lively sounds of Mariachi music.

For further information or any questions, please contact us at 432-683-4226, or visit our website at www.hccmidland.org to download the registration form.
