Nashville-born and now a Midland local, Jared Gray brings a songwriter’s heart shaped by years working alongside some of the music industry’s biggest names. Since 2020, his focus has turned from life on the road to family, storytelling, and sharing songs of his own.�

Connecting back to the Public Arts Midland 2026 theme, art heals, Jared shared, “Art heals because it gives people a place to put their emotions. Sometimes a song says what a conversation can’t. The music I write comes from life lived; the road, family, change, loss, faith, and finding your way back home. I think honest storytelling creates connection, and connection is where healing begins.”
