We recently experienced an influx of inquiries regarding the cancellation of our event. To provide context, our organization hosts over 30 non-Renaissance Faire-based events annually, including plant shows and other activities. Unfortunately, we encountered significant challenges in securing the necessary permits for this particular event. The permitting process in Londonderry proved to be particularly cumbersome, with delays spanning 3-4 months for feedback and a month for responses. Our intention was to support the local fire department and school district through fundraisers, with 10% of our profits being donated back to the community. Regrettably, the lack of clarity regarding the cancellation reason has left us disheartened. The feedback received was that the permit wasn't approved due to not obtaining said permit…. which we find perplexing- to say the least. We are looking at other locations for 2027!
