Mike has been a part of the Hops airshow, and we're thrilled to have him back performing at Hops in the Hangar 2026!

Check this out… Mike performs the only aerobatic routine in the world in a 1947 North American Navion. With smooth, graceful maneuvers and a distinctive roar that turns heads, his performance celebrates the spirit and craftsmanship of post-World War II aviation. 🤩

It's not just an airshow performance...it's a flying piece of history.

This will be Bob’s Ricards second appearance at Hops in the Hangar, and we’re thrilled to have him back!

We truly appreciate Bob Richards and all of our airshow performers for being a spectacular part of what makes Hops in the Hangar such an exciting and unique event. Their incredible skill, precision, and passion for aviation help create the thrilling experience our guests look forward to every year.

Meet the Butler County Warbirds!

The Butler County Warbirds have been the centerpiece of Hops in the Hangar since the very beginning, helping bring aviation history to life right inside the hangar. Their mission is to preserve and share the stories of America’s aviation heroes through historic aircraft and memorabilia. 👏👏👏

At the event, you have a chance to purchase raffle tickets for a flight in one of their historic aircraft. Imagine experiencing aviation history. 🤩

The Butler County Warbirds Museum, located at the airport, is a hidden gem that has more than 1,800 artifacts spanning from the Civil War to the present day. The museum is open to the public on weekends, and admission is free.

If you’ve never visited, put it on your list. Whether you’re an aviation enthusiast, history buff, or simply looking for something unique to do, the museum is well worth the trip. Check their social media pages or website for current hours and special events. You’ll leave with a new appreciation for the people and aircraft that is our nation’s history. ✈️🇺🇸
