As an Army Mom, seeing kindness like this shown to our son’s unit means everything. Thank you for supporting our heroes!

You may know us from our light show on Decker Drive. Over the years, we’ve never asked for donations—but this year is different. This one hits close to home.

Our son’s unit is currently deployed in the Middle East, and we have put together a wish list to support these brave men and women. This particular base has been hit several times, including their PX and barracks , leaving them unable to replenish basic necessities or even grab a few snacks.

If you’ve ever wanted to give back to our troops but weren’t sure how, this is a meaningful way to do it—and you’ll be supporting a local Middletown soldier.

Any support—big or small—truly makes a difference and is deeply appreciated. ❤️

Our second shipment of boxes are ready to be sent to our Christopher and is unit! 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Our next set of boxes will be going out by next week. 🇺🇸📦

If anyone would like to contribute, you can drop items off at our house and we’ll include them with our next shipment.

Some of the items our troops need most right now are: toothpaste, deodorant, soap, Advil, Dude Wipes, tide pods, jerky, tuna packets, Liquid IV, Gatorade packets, and snacks of all kinds. Apparently honey buns are a huge favorite! ❤️

Unfortunately, nothing that needs to be heated or microwaved.

Thank you to everyone helping us support these soldiers and reminding them people back home are thinking of them.

They say things are getting a little safer, and we hold onto that hope. But until they’re all home, there will always be a piece of our hearts out there.

Today we took advantage of the nice weather and put a few lights out in honor of all our service members currently deployed. Being a military family sure hits differently when it’s your child deployed to a combat zone. Praying for them all 🙏🏻🇺🇸

Just when we thought the snow would finally melt enough to light up the Red, White and Blue and put our yellow ribbon out… another storm rolls in.

We’ll get there eventually. Until then, we keep the faith, we keep the lights ready, and we continue to pray for the safety of our soldiers — wherever they are and whatever they’re facing. 🇺🇸.
