Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Music in Troubled Times Festival!

To our singers, orchestra members, crew, staff, donors, housing hosts, and every single person who attended an event, we couldn’t do it without you! It was a privilege to explore our festival theme through a wide range of events, and it means so much to us that our community is willing to support new works. Thank you, thank you.

We’re now turning our attention to Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro, which will round out our 2026-27 season in the spring. Keep an eye out for more announcements coming soon!

Thank you, Jim Lowe, for this wonderful review of this jewel of a piece. We are so proud of the stellar cast, extraordinary orchestra, beautiful production and inspired staging. Among the enthusiastic audiences have been 40 under 26 years old who received free tickets through our "Opera Under 26" program. There may be a few tickets left for ANY age if you go on-line NOW at ocmvermont.org.

Tonight, Debby Anderson takes her final bow as Opera Company of Middlebury's costume designer.

Our production of Rappahannock County is not only a celebration of human resilience, it's also a celebration of Debby's extraordinary 24-season tenure with us. When our characters make their entrance, before they've sung a word, Debby has always told us exactly who they are.

Join us in honoring her incredible work, her legacy, and her deep love for this moving opera that she has poured her heart into, as she has with every production.

Come celebrate Debby with us!
