A DIFFERENT SPORT to watch today! The cross country(XC) phase of the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event 2026 is running now, and is worth a watch.
🐎 ARTIST, a Thoroughbred who raced, is leading the 5* division after the dressage phase

🐎 There are several Thoroughbreds competing at the highest level of eventing in KY this weekend, including Malibu Preacher, who raced over hurdles

On a new personal best dressage score of 22.3, Monica Spencer and Artist will be at the top of the leaderboard going into cross-country for the CCI5* at the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event! Tim Price and Vitali are just 0.3 behind in second position, and Tom McEwen ended his test with a score of 25.1 on Brookfield Quality to round out the top 3.

Dolly Fisher’s Keys Discount, trained by Jack Fisher and ridden by Graham Watters, continued his impressive form, soaring to victory in the $30,000 Middleburg Hunt Cup on Saturday!

Bred by Bryan Minnich, Keys Discount is by Medal Count, a classic-placed son of Dynaformer. He now has $201,966 in total career earnings.

In case you didn't have enough fun on Saturday, head back to Glenwood this Sunday for the Middleburg Hunt Point to Point!
❓ What's the difference? Different set of horses, since most don't race on back to back weekends. Some of the horses are less experienced, the awards are silver trophies and don't include money
🟢 Organized by a different group. Did you think we do it all over again 7 days later?? 😂
❓What's the same? Many of the same jockeys and trainers, same jumps, same amazing views! Same trees, but with more leaves!
😘 Good luck to all the horsemen for a safe and successful day!

A welcome breeze today while we made final preparations for tomorrow!
A few notes:
🙏 Please have your QR code ready to be scanned or your hangtag in view
🟡When you get to the entrance, those with hangtags will enter through the left gate, guests with QR codes through the right
🟢 Please allow our parking crew to direct you
🟡 Look for feather flags to help you find parking and tailgate areas
🟢 No pets, glass or personal tents, please, for everyone’s safety
🟡 Gates open at 10:00 am and the park closes at 6:00 pm

PLAYTIME at the RACES | Our Family Fun Paddock in the Picnic Parking area is for kids, horsey or not, to just enjoy themselves.
🟩 Pet some adoptable dogs at the PetConnect Rescue tent
🟨 Sit and draw in the art tent
🟩 Run and jump over the obstacles, with or without a stick pony
🟨 Hula hoops, soccer and a cooling tent with benches round out the activities
PARENTS: We will have adults supervising the pups and stick ponies, please supervise your children! 😊
