Middlebrook Horse Show Come and join us August 1st, 2026 for a fun day full of horses! We are thrilled to be bringing back the annual Middlebrook Horse Show.

The Middlebrook Horse Show is celebrating its 59th Year! If you have not been to the Middlebrook Horse Show it is an open show starting at 8 am with the Hunter Over Fences 2'3", 2'6", and 18" divisions. The afternoon and evening classes are interspersed flat classes of English, Western, Gaited, Model and some fun classes. If you do not ride horses or show you can always come to watch and contribut

e by staying for our chicken BBQ starting at 4pm. The Horse Show is the biggest fundraising event for the Middlebrook Ruritan Club. The proceeds all go back into the community; FFA Market Animal Show, Annual community clean-up day, Annual scholarships to Riverheads High School students, Blue Ridge Food Bank, Blue Ridge Pantry, Kingsway Help Center, Boy Scouts
Community Christmas tree lighting, Rudy Bear donations to rescue squads & doctor’s offices

There’s something for everyone!
- Starting the morning off with hunter/jumper classes from ground poles to 3’0”.
- Lunch will begin at 11am along with an informal dog show!
- The Daytime Show begins after 12:30 pm and features flat and equitation courses for all age levels, a model confirmation class, English pleasure, western pleasure, and Non trot/gaited pleasure classes.
- Following this will be the Dinner Break and Evening Show starting after 5 pm.
- Evening events include a fun costume class, go as you please (Gaited, English, and Western), open equitation/western pleasure/five-gaited, ABS Country Pleasure, and a Champagne/Sparkling Water Class!

‼️The best way to see more of your favorite classes is to show up and show out in the ring! We can’t wait to see everyone this year!!‼️
