Get ready folks!! New chapters are coming!! After a long debate on where we want the direction of things to go moving forward…. The Canaan Valley Trail Run will be moving to Blackwater Falls State Park! For those of you that run with me every year, I hope you’re just as excited as I am to check out some new terrain! The park is very generous and a more solidified route is being worked up at the moment! Stay tuned for everything on the website to be updated and I’ll get RunSignUp open to you as soon as I can!! Race day is just around the corner!! With that in mind, be sure to check out our local artist who will be performing for us at Pendleton Point! He's got an awesome sound blending multiple genres together! Don't forget Music starts at 7pm at the point, so bring friends and family to enjoy the beautiful scenery and great live sounds!

We’ll have a certified sports chiropractic physician on site this year at the start line for those of you looking to get aligned and set that new PR! Pendleton point is such a wonderful spot to see the stunning Blackwater Canyon, don’t forget to come early and stay late so you can check out everything the park has to offer!

They say behind every great man are some really freaking cool parents! Well here at Back Hollow Running Company we're a small little family run business trying to bring you the best race weekend experience we can! This experience wouldn't be possible without the two best parents a man could ask for! They're up before the crack of dawn on Race Day, they're here all week setting up, they make sure everyone is getting their swag at packet pickup, and they make sure I actually eat food and take breaks while the events are happening! Today's post is about the people behind the scenes, without whom, these races wouldn't be nearly as possible to pull off! If you see them say Hi!
