It's National Rosa Parks day.
It started on the bus, but grew to become a catalyst for the Civil Rights Movement.
Rosa Parks story reminds us that one person can make a difference. Her bravery and courage in the face of adversity reminds us that we all have the power to create positive change in the world and will forever inspire us.

Studying Black history in US is more important than ever, because it increases understanding and appreciation of the significant contributions that African Americans have made to this countrys history, as well as the challenges they have faced and continue to face.

By studying black history, we gain a more complete and nuanced understanding of American history and society, and develop a greater appreciation for the diversity of perspectives and experiences that shaped the country. It also helps promote greater racial understanding and bridge cultural divides, ultimately leading to a more inclusive and equitable society.

It's Black History month and National Freedom Day!

If you don't know, National Freedom Day commemorates the signing of the 13th Amendment that was passed by Congress on January 31, 1865, and signed by Abraham Lincoln on February 1, 1865.

There's still alot left to do, but the the 13th Amendment is a landmark in US history, abolishing slavery and laying the foundation for pushing for equality for all. Its significance still resonates in the fight for justice, freedom, and equal rights today.
