Because twenty years is a long time, we put together a brief slide show of each Akademia pilot program. This first short video details our time spent on the Physical Studies program in Los Angeles, Brazil, Europe & Asia (2005 - 2010).

We'd like to thank our family for their incredible support, our colleagues Sean, Sibel, İpek, Nil, Korhan, Erkut, Ziya, Marie, Kazim, Şukran, Hamin, Ekrem, Oznur, Femke, Ebru, Sezen, Adem & Yusuf, and our friends Cem, Özgür, Barbaros, Reza, Natalie, Suzanna, Cumali and many others who made this program an amazing experience. At last, after twenty years of pilot programs in health & fitness, academics and creative studies involving thousands of people across four continents, we are pleased to unveil Akademia, a powerful four-year curriculum for the new era.

Akademia was built around a simple idea that most education leaves out - that the Physical, Intellectual and Creative disciplines were never meant to be taught separately. Most platforms pick one lane and stay in it. Akademia was designed around the opposite proposition - that real growth happens at the intersection of all three.

The Akademia Awards is currently only accepting award submissions from graduates of Akademia, a four-year innovative curriculum of physical, intellectual and creative training designed to unlock the student's unique personal vision.
