Land of Wild Designs Photography will be celebrating 16 years!!! We will begin posting our Celebration posts spotlighting sixteen local small businesses during the month of June 2026.
BUT FIRST - - - let me re-introduce myself!
Hi, my name is Becca and I was born and have lived in Arizona most of my life, married my high school sweetheart, raised my children here, worked here, played here. I attended college at the University of Arizona studying Interior Design. I have always loved color, composition, perspective, and beauty.
In 2008, we moved to Juneau for a couple of years. When we returned to Arizona in 2010, it was my goal to design the life I love.
I have always loved photography, having been a school yearbook photographer in HS, and along through life, I have almost always had a camera around my neck, I have also been interested in following other photographers’ ideas and styles for years, so I was inspired to create my own niche in the industry.
I quickly discovered that I had more passion and drive than talent, so I spent every extra waking hour in the day educating myself on everything from the business aspect of entrepreneurship, posing, editing trends, camera settings, light, and more.
I always feel like each day is a new adventure with beauty in front of me, but I don’t take it for granted. In this world, I have discovered that every day is beautiful, every person and every created thing is beautiful too. When we put them all together in a photo session, these things make the most amazing way to remember our moments.
In 2023, we were fortunate enough to open a studio space in Historic Downtown Globe, AZ. Located at 610 N Broad Street on the corner of Broad and Hackney. This has been the most amazing opportunity to be able to photograph in a climate-controlled environment: Newborns, Cake smash, Milestones, Professional Headshots, Maternity, Custom Creative Sessions, Bo***ir, etc.
I am still also photographing (probably 85% of my sessions) outdoors in natural light and in stunning locations in Arizona and beyond.
I have felt blessed to have been able to have my business open and growing over the past 16 years and I want to celebrate with YOU! Thank you for participating with me in this journey – YOU have made my life more beautiful. YOU have made this world more beautiful. Thank you for allowing me to capture moments that tell the story of your amazing life. This past sixteen years have been the most fun I have had in my life (with the addition of handful of beautiful personal moments with my family and loved ones that have brought so much joy to my heart), and I am soooooooooo excited to see what the next 16 years brings!
Land of Wild Designs got it’s name from a comment that my brother used to make when we lived in Juneau (with it being the capital of Alaska), he called it the ‘Capital of Wild’ so when I was searching for a name for my business the name that fit best was
‘Land of Wild Designs'
