Our special multicolor flag with its peace sign strives to bring together Americans and all people in America and it aspires a peaceful,loving,racially conscious climate as we welcome our new President of the United States of America. The insurrection that occurred on January 6th, 2021 at the US Capitol was a disgrace. It is certainly not the values ,morals and the belief systems we embrace. Racial tensions are high, political parties are polarized and the current basic human rights movements are tenuous. We aspire our flag to bring hope and positivity to all people, with intentions of it rejecting vicious radical ideology, negativity and violence. Our flag strives to unite the people of America. A flag that celebrates , honors and respects America’s diversity of all races, religions, s*xual orientations, s*x, gender identities, and all nationalities. We believe, as Americans and as people, we are able to all coexist peacefully despite our political differences. With our flag, individuality is embraced , equal opportunity is present, the disenfranchised is empowered & the marginalized have access to necessary resources.We aspire our flag to reject hate,violence, and aggression amongst people. We encourage Americans and all people to educate, communicate effectively, debate, and have respectful dialogue where information can be exchanged and learned. No one is perfect; I surely am not, but we can all try to be open minded, listen to each other,create positive change &coexist in a world full of variety, color,&personality. We’ve been through so much during this pandemic &now we need to unify and not give in to the negativity that mainstream media fuels.Our flag is aimed to inspire to disassemble systematic racism, classism, s*xism &all unjustified acts with nonviolence and education; an attempt to reprogram &rewire the thought processes that feeds into such injustices.This is all a work in progress.
