Time Warp has unveiled the lineup for its Los Angeles debut.

The renowned German house and techno brand will join forces with Insomniac Events to bring a three-warehouse music experience to Los Angeles’ Ace*Mission Studios on November 27-28, featuring performances from over 30 of the world’s leading house and techno DJs.

On the techno side, solo performances will come from industrial heavyweights Richie Hawtin and Ben Klock, groove-led selectors like Chlär, Funk Tribu, ØTTA, ONYVAA, and Rødhåd, and emergent hard techno names like Cloudy and Novah.

Anticipated standalone sets for the house heads include The Martinez Brothers, Loco Dice, SOSA, East End Dubs, Luuk van Dijk, Desiree, and Ahmed Spins, while the sonic palate expands across more hotly tipped performances from clubland genre-weaver HAAi, electroclash icon Tiga, and German speed garage sensation Southstar.

The event’s B2B pairings only add more star power to the bill, led by collaborative sets from Blawan B2B Elli Acula, D.Dan B2B Freddy K, Gerd Janson B2B Julya Karma, Dennis Ferrer B2B Skream, Quest B2B Ryan Elliot, Heidi Lawden B2B Masha Mar, and SPFDJ B2B Toccororo. The rest of the lineup highlights Los Angeles’ leading genre talents, including fun2bjane, John Bryers, Onyx, and longtime local staple Colored Craig.

After Insomniac’s Skyline festival debuted at Ace*Mission Studios earlier this year, Time Warp Los Angeles will venture into previously unactivated areas of the venue, where the Ace Warehouses will host three distinct stages of music from 2PM to 2AM daily. Programming will total 24 hours of dancing throughout the weekend.

Pre-sale registration is now open at insom.co/timewarpla. Pre-sale ticket access begins this Friday, September 18, at 11AM PT. General on-sale will follow on the same date at 12PM PT.

FESTIVAL REPORT CARD🚨— Since live music events returned after the pandemic, ARC Music Festival has brought the global house and techno scene home to Chicago on Labor Day Weekend.

Over six editions, the festival’s growing profile has helped turn the holiday weekend in the Windy City, the birthplace of house music, into a Midwest music week that rivals the biggest marathon sessions on the circuit, drawing tens of thousands of clubbers from Chicago and around the world to the event in Union Park and dozens of afterparties across the city.

Amid ARC’s first-ever four-day expansion, the festival’s 2026 edition, back from September 4-7, promised to be its most momentous yet. But after a long weekend marred by operational shortcomings and a disregard for basic amenities, this year’s event failed to live up to ARC’s lofty reputation, or really even come close.

Thanks to a heavyweight lineup featuring the likes of Michael Bibi, Mau P, Chris Stassy, Beltran, Prospa, Cloonee, Sara Landry, Anyma, Brutalismus 3000, and many more, we had fun dancing with our friends to a wide variety of sounds by some of the best electronic artists on the planet. Still, bad audio and a lackluster experience between the beats did little to justify the high ticket prices attendees paid to see them.

In the days since, the festival and its organizers at Chicago’s market-dominating Auris Presents have faced intense criticism online as fans debate the relative importance and impact of ARC 2026’s drawbacks. We believe the festival took a big step backward this year.

Teletech is bringing hard techno to San Francisco for New Year’s weekend.🔥

The influential UK event series will join forces with Fresh Start SF for a special takeover of the Pier 80 Warehouse in San Francisco on January 2, 2027, bringing a stacked international lineup to the Bay Area for one of the first major techno events of the new year.

At the top of the bill, French titans I Hate Models and Nico Moreno lead the charge alongside genre queen Novah, British peak-time powerhouse Eli Brown, and explosive Australian selector Restricted, as some of techno’s most in-demand names storm the Bay Area.

Deeper into the lineup, Kander, Onlynumbers, and Toxic Machinery B2B USH represent a rising wave of talent pushing hard techno into increasingly intense territory. The roster stretches further into hard techno’s current vanguard with KLOUD, Kruelty, MADGRRL, TDJ, Ueberrest, Vessel, and Flash GEA, alongside a surprise guest and more leading names.

The collaboration marks a major San Francisco appearance for the Manchester-born Teletech, which has become a fixture of the international hard techno circuit through its high-speed warehouse events and festival takeovers.

Amelie Lens has released her debut album, AURA.🌀

The Belgian techno queen’s first full-length LP arrives on her own EXHALE label today, wrapping up her musical journey in 11 tracks that speak to different sides of the sonic universe she’s built over the last decade.

From the pulsing 303 of “falling into acid dreams” to the hypnotic drumbeats of “whatever you do” and the industrial bass of “our frequency,” the album winds through a multitude of sounds inspired by her younger days on the dancefloor, playing tiny nightclubs earlier in her career, and summiting the massive festival stages she graces today.

In a fitting nod to a fellow Belgian force, the project’s sole feature comes from rising singer-songwriter Angèle, whose introspective vocals drive the melody on the album’s lynchpin single, “run.”

“AURA is my story. AURA is about the connection between the crowd and me,” Lens said in a statement. “Music has always been my escape, my way of turning my emotions and energy into something new. When I was younger, I would disappear into nightclubs and create my own world in my head. Being in the nightclubs gave me this feeling of belonging somewhere; I felt connection and freedom I had never experienced before.”

She continued: “That feeling changed my life completely. So this album really reflects that whole journey. From playing tiny local clubs and driving myself through the night for gigs, to standing on huge festival stages, becoming a mother, building EXHALE and learning how to balance it all in life.”

To celebrate the release, Lens will play a one-off show at the KSMKA Fine Arts Museum in Antwerp, Belgium, this Saturday, September 5, where 14,00 fans will hear the album played out live for the first time.

Wasteland is back for its eleventh edition, and hard dance is showing up in all its twisted forms. ☣️

For more than a decade, the beloved West Coast festival has been a cornerstone of Insomniac’s Basscon brand and a destination for devoted hard dance heads. It was a pure hardstyle affair when the event debuted at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium in 2015. But since then, Wasteland and the scene around it have evolved to encompass a wide range of high-speed sound— from hardcore and rawstyle to hard techno and schranz—as heavy, fast kicks continue to dominate the post-pandemic dance music ecosystem.

Reflecting that shift, when the festival returns to the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino this weekend, September 4-5, Wasteland will host performances by 48 artists whose classic and emerging styles traverse the hard dance landscape.

Scene pillars like Lil Texas and Darren Styles return alongside German schranz purveyor KUKO and cross-genre specialist Serafina, while Insomniac’s techno and hardgroove brand Mutate and the renowned Unreal Germany join as new stage hosts. The result traces a line between the sounds that forged Wasteland’s foundation and the newer movements now pushing it into uncharted ground.

Here, we took a closer look at this year’s program, mapping the genres that have long shaped Wasteland alongside those making their debut.

Awakenings has locked in the date for its first-ever EXO edition in Colombia. 🇨🇴

The renowned Dutch techno promoter will bring its large-scale event concept to Bogotá’s Coliseo MedPlus on December 4, joining forces with local scene pillar BAUM for its first edition in the country.

Designed to carry the impactful scale and production language of Awakenings beyond its home base in the Netherlands, EXO brings multi-stage techno programming into an immersive environment built around expansive lighting, lasers, LED installations, and synchronized visuals.

The concept was previously slated to debut at New York City’s Brooklyn Mirage in 2025, but the event was ultimately canceled amid the venue’s prolonged closure. Now, Awakenings revives the show in Bogotá, where the Dutch institution collides with a thriving scene in South America’s techno capital.

Lineup and additional event details are yet to be announced.
