During the Irish Italian Parade, our Community Outreach Specialist, Dr. Leslie Faulkner, teamed up with the iconic LSU Golden Girls to share a life-saving message. While the music was playing and the beads were flying, the mission remained front and center: One Pill Can Kill. 🛡️🧤

From the sidelines to the end zone, we are committed to delivering the education our students and families need to stay safe. It’s about protecting our future, one conversation at a time. 🐯⚖️

I just went back to last Sunday’s posts and rewatched every video clip of LSU’s Golden Band from Tigerland performing in last week’s parade.

After a couple of days of much-needed rest, the La. Irish-Italian Parade’s Board of Directors thank Irish Grand Marshal Cameron Henry, Italian Grand Marshal Erik Youngblood, the LSU Golden Band from Tigerland, the riders of the floats and trucks, the marchers, dancers, walking groups, and the HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of parade-goers who lined the streets of Jefferson Parish for making this year’s parade one of the best ever!

We also appreciated the support this year from Caluda’s King Cakes, Matrana’s Produce, Beads by the Dozen, Crescent Crown Distributors, Nicoll’s Limousines, Stepbrothers Bar & Grill, John’s Tuxedos, Pelican Events, The Topcats, and Chateau Golf and Country Club!
