While in Washington, our Queen had the special opportunity to meet a former queen — the 1978 Greater New Orleans Floral Trail Queen, Melanie Ouzts Delesdernier. Hearing her share her memories and experiences from her time as Queen, and being reminded that we were one of the original seven groups invited to Washington, truly put into perspective the rich history behind our organization. It was a meaningful reminder of the legacy we carry and just how enduring and special the Greater New Orleans Floral Trail continues to be.
