Behind every good idea is somebody who has the idea… and somebody else saying, “Okay, but how are we actually going to keep this thing together?” 😂

In our case, that would be Bob and Leona Davis.

He may have had the brains behind the original idea, but she has definitely been part of the “KEEP IT TOGETHER!” department ever since. 😂

And apparently, they’ve been practicing that teamwork for a while because today they’re celebrating 40 YEARS of marriage! ❤️

So from all of us at Rat Rod Rust Rash:

Happy 40th Anniversary to the original brains + organization team! 😂❤️

Thanks for showing us that sometimes the best things are built with a good idea, a whole lot of work, and somebody beside you saying, “Alright…now let’s figure out how to make this happen.”

Today we pause from the noise, the engines, and everything else happening around us to remember.

🇺🇸 September 11, 2001.

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders and ordinary Americans who showed extraordinary courage.

May we never forget the sacrifice, the unity, and the reminder that we are stronger when we stand together.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🚨 BIG UPDATE FOR THIS YEAR’S SHOW 🚨

After careful consideration… we’ve decided to make a few changes:

• All rat rods must be freshly washed, waxed, and showroom perfect ✨
• Rust is officially NOT allowed ❌
• Matching paint jobs only 🎨
• And plaques will now be based on “cleanest interior” 😌
