Condition 12/13

Groomers were out yesterday and today leveling and combing the 21 K trail system. Early season conditions are rated at fair plus. The skiing surface is firm, has well formed corduroy with 95% coverage. At this time tracks have not been set because of the lack of snow depth. The Homestead Wetland has not completely froze resulting in some soft spots but is skiable. Groomers will attempt to groom this section early next week. Overall, the trail is very skiable, skiers will be surprised at the conditions. Snowshoe trails are open.

WooHoo! Jessie is coming to Wisconsin!

Been waiting a while to share this and I’m super excited to announce that I’m going to FINALLY get to experience the most iconic race in the US…and do the American Birkie next winter! The stars aligned with my race schedule for the first time since I turned 18 years old 😂 and I’m so pumped to do this race that I’ve watched my parents do and been involved with my whole life. I’m a newbie to the soooo…please share your best tips and stories with me! I want it all! 🤩🙏🏼

Sisu Ski Fest presented checks to its 2023 grant recipients at the City Square in downtown Ironwood on June 1st.

The Gogebic Range Health Foundation has distributed nearly $1 million in grants to organizations in Iron County, WI and Gogebic County, MI.Its goal is to create healthy communities through the built environment.
