The Mercedes Chamber of Commerce and the City of Mercedes invite the entire Rio Grande Valley community to The Texas Street Festival, to be held Labor Day weekend, in beautiful downtown Mercedes. The Texas Street Festival will feature music, food, art and entertainment for the entire family. There are no other festivals of this type, scheduled for Labor Day weekend, in the entire Rio Grande Valley

making it a unique attraction. This one day event will be held on Saturday, Labor Day Weekend. The Texas Street Festival will take place on Texas Avenue, in historic downtown Mercedes and the gates will open at 3 pm with non-stop entertainment until midnight. Enjoy great art exhibits, street vendors, street performers, and great food and beverages. This family-oriented event will feature an array of musical artists, live wrestling, q car show and rides for children of all ages. The Texas Street Festival will feature a culturally diverse line-up of music and unique renditions from local artists all on one day and all Free to the public.
