It is tea party time! Our friends at the Merced County Courthouse Museum will be holding their 29th Annual Tea Party at the Courthouse Museum on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Tickets are now available for purchase, priced at $18 for guests aged 11 years and older and $12 for children 10 years and under. Please join our friends at the Merced County Courthouse Museum tomorrow, Thursday March 12, for the opening of their newest exhibit “In Memory of the Old Library”. Stop by and learn the history of the Old Library from its early days as Merced High School, through its days as a library and afterwards. More info in flyer.

Join us for the “In Memory of the Old Library” exhibit opening on Thursday, March 12, at 5 p.m. Kathleen Crookham, Sherrie Spendlove, and Susan Walsh will share their memories and tributes to the Old Library at 6 p.m. For more information about the exhibition, please contact the Museum office at (209) 723-2401.

Mark your calendars! Please join our friends at the Merced County Courthouse Museum for the Merced County Historical Society’s Annual Membership Meeting. It will be held on Sunday, Feb 1, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Merced Women’s Clubhouse. There will be presentations awarded and music performers from the community performing on stage . Also, the newly improved Clubhouse will be open and our renovation and upgrades will be on display. More info in the flyer.

Our friends at the Merced County Courthouse Museum will be hosting "The World Has Heart" Workshop at the Courthouse Museum on January 10, 1:30 - 3:30. $25 per person.

Please join the Merced County Historical Society and Monika Modest to raise money for the Merced County Food Bank. Here is a great opportunity to accomplish this goal while having fun with your friends and family. More info in flyer.
