Rockin' For Life Cancer Awareness Festival Remembering those that have lost the fight...Honoring those that have won the fight...Supporting tho Approximately 200 people attended the event.

Rockin For Life was started by Merced, Ca rock band "415" in 2010. In less than 4 months, the benefit was organized and on Saturday, May 29, 2010, 415 hosted/sponsored the first Rockin For Life Breast Cancer Benefit. 8 bands played from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm: Premonition, Nowhere Near, Nadine The Band, Gearbox, Asiago, Murder of Truth, Burned Over District & 415. Support was overwhelming and the da

y ended with the emotional "Lights of Life" ceremony. In 2011 Rockin For Life will open the event to include ALL forms of cancer. Music is an awesome way to get people together, especially for a common cause. Our purpose is to broaden community awareness, support & to provide financial assistance to the cause of finding cures for cancer. Rockin For Life recently formed a team for American Cancer Society's Relay For Life in Merced which will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Merced College.
