It’s tonight! The final night of the Albertine Cinémathèque French Film Festival begins with a closing reception at 6:30, a screening of “Orlando: My Political Biography” at 7pm, and wrapping up with a Q & A with Drs Judy Haas and Beck Henriksen.

The filmmaker Paul B. Preciado shares the title role with 20 trans and nonbinary performers to make a point about the cage of identity.

"Orlando: My Political Biography" is a creative documentary that weaves the story of Virginia Woolf's iconic character Orlando into the stories of contemporary trans and nonbinary people living today in France, who tell their stories as they also portray Orlando. 6:30pm reception, 7pm screening. "Orlando" is sponsored by the Gender and Sexuality Studies Program at Rhodes College.

It's tonight! Claire Simon's "Intimate and Unflinching" look inside a gynecology ward in a public Parisian hospital (Hollywood Reporter). The film observes mostly women — ranging in age, ethnicity, class and medical needs. They arrive seeking treatment. But thanks to Simon’s keen and uncompromising eye, it’s clear that these patients also come for advice, consolation and hope.
