Out of an abundance of care for our horses - and for yours - Agricenter International is temporarily closing our equine campus until December 12th due to confirmed regional cases of EHV-1.

EHV-1 is a highly contagious equine virus spread through direct contact and shared equipment, and it can lead to respiratory illness or neurological symptoms. We are implementing heightened biosecurity measures and suspending all equine-related activities during this temporary closure.

To our horse owners, trainers, and riders: we’re monitoring updates closely and will continue to share information as needed. Thank you for understanding and helping protect the Tennessee equine community.

Effective immediately, Agricenter International is temporarily closing our equine campus due to confirmed regional cases of Equine Herpesvirus Type 1 (EHV-1). The ShowPlace Arena will be closed from all events until December 12th.

While this virus affects horses only, we’re sharing this update with our full community to explain why our equine facilities will be closed for now. This precaution helps protect the horses that frequent our facilities and supports the broader equine community across Tennessee and the region.

We will continue to monitor regional veterinary guidance and share any relevant updates as we navigate.
