500 RUNNERS! ALL FOUR DISTANCES SOLD OUT!

We have 233 runners registered for the 100 Miler, making this our largest 100-mile field in Mamba history!

Thank you all for the incredible support! We can’t wait to see everyone November 6–7!

WAITLIST IS NOW OPEN!

• First come, first served, regardless of race distance.
• FREE to join! Your card will not be charged.
• When someone drops or defers, the next person on the waitlist gets an invitation.
• You’ll have 48 hours to accept your invitation by email before we move to the next runner.

DEFERRAL REMINDER

If you cannot make it this year, you can still defer to 2027!

• 50% credit until two weeks before race day.
• 25% credit after that, per our deferral policy.

If you know you can’t make it, please defer early so another runner can take your spot!

LAST MAMBA STANDING 2027 — THE LOTTERY IS COMING.

Halloween night. 6:00 PM.

Lottery registration for the 2027 Last Mamba Standing officially opens.

Only 50 runners will earn a spot on the starting line on October 23, 2027.

Same location. Same private trails in Eads, Tennessee, just outside of Memphis.

Entering the lottery is completely FREE. Your card will NOT be charged when you enter. You will only be charged if you are selected, receive an invitation, and accept your spot in the race.

We will invite back the Top 10 runners from the 2026 Last Mamba Standing, then our goal is to complete the field with 20 men and 20 women selected through the lottery.

The lottery will remain open for two weeks.

Then, on Sunday, November 15 at 7:00 PM, we will go LIVE and draw the names at random for the 2027 field.

And we have some big plans for next year.

We are working on taking the Last Mamba Standing livestream to another level with live race coverage and commentary throughout the event so people can follow the battle as it unfolds.

There will still be only ONE Last Mamba Standing champion.

We will also recognize the top male and top female with additional awards, provided there is no tie in distance.

Come join us on the trails this New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day and see just how far you can go!

Run as much or as little as you want during the 36-hour event. Buckles are awarded to runners who complete 52+ miles, including a special 100-mile buckle for those who reach 100 miles. Runners completing 51 miles or less will receive a finisher medal.

BIG NEWS for Last Mamba Standing!

We are excited to announce that Last Mamba Standing is officially a BRONZE TICKET Backyard Ultra for 2027! 🥉

We’re bringing an official Bronze Ticket Backyard Ultra to the Memphis tri-state area!

A Bronze Ticket puts our winner on the qualification path toward Big’s Backyard Ultra — earning an invitation to a Silver Ticket event, where the next step toward Big’s is on the line.

We’re also moving Last Mamba Standing one month later to give runners more favorable conditions to go far.

After an incredible first year of Last Mamba Standing, I’ve spent a lot of today thinking about what I want this race to become.

And one thing became pretty clear this weekend.

I want to keep this race small.

There was something special about what happened out there. The runners knew each other. Crews stepped up in a huge way. People pushed themselves farther than they ever had before. And as the hours passed, we all watched that starting corral get smaller and smaller.

I don’t want to lose that.

So beginning in 2027, Last Mamba Standing will be limited to 50 runners and will move to a lottery registration.

We will invite 10 runners from this year’s race back to the starting line.

The remaining 40 spots will be drawn by lottery — 20 men and 20 women.

And we’re going to make the drawing part of Last Mamba Standing.

There will be a registration window to enter the lottery. Once it closes, we’ll hold a LIVE lottery drawing and pull all 40 names.

There will still only be ONE Last Mamba Standing.

One course. One starting line. One bell every hour. Everybody competing together until only one runner remains.

We’ll release more information soon about lottery registration, the returning runners, the waitlist and all the other details for 2027.

But if you want to be standing beside that lake when the first bell rings next year, keep watching.

We are down to ONE.

Tate Stedman is the last runner remaining at Last Mamba Standing.

He has one final yard to complete. If Tate makes it back to the finish line by 8:00 AM, he will officially be crowned the 2026 Last Mamba Standing champion.

This will put Tate at 104.16 miles.

One runner. One final yard. Let’s see if he can finish it.

We’re doing bibs a little differently at Last Mamba Standing.

You will NOT wear a bib during the race. Instead, you’ll earn your bib when your race is over.

We have 45 runners and 45 bibs, numbered 1–45.

The first runner to drop will receive bib #45. The next runner gets #44, and we’ll keep counting down as runners drop throughout the race.

Eventually, only one runner will remain.

The Last Mamba Standing will earn bib #1.

Your bib number will forever represent exactly where you finished at the inaugural Last Mamba Standing.

You don’t get your bib at packet pickup.

You earn it on the course.
