Mamba Trail Runners will be at the KEEN + Grivet Outdoors Strava Segment Challenge at Overton Park in Memphis tomorrow!

Join us from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM for a fun morning with runners from all over the Memphis area. Multiple run groups will be represented, making it a great opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, and connect with the local running community.

Come get in some miles, take your shot at the Strava segment challenge, check out some KEEN gear, and enjoy a great morning in the park. Plus, you’ll have a chance to win some awesome prizes, including a Grand Prize trail running trip to Oregon.

If you’re planning to run the Mamba 25K or 50K Nov. 7th, don’t wait too long to register.

We already have the largest 100-mile field in Mamba 100 history, and runners continue to sign up from across the country to come experience Memphis and the Wolf River Trails. It’s incredible to see so many runners choosing Mamba 100 as their fall goal race.

Because of that growth, every additional 100-mile runner takes away space that could have gone to a 25K or 50K participant. As we get closer to race day, some runners who wait to register for the 25K or 50K won’t be able to get in.

We’re sharing this now so nobody is caught off guard later. If the 25K or 50K is on your calendar this fall, now is the time to secure your spot.

It’s shaping up to be the biggest Mamba 100 weekend we’ve ever had, and we can’t wait to welcome runners from all over the country to Memphis and the Wolf River Trails.

🔥 2026 Cobra Den Trail Series Shirts

Working late in the Mamba office tonight putting the final design touches on our 2026 Cobra Den Trail Series shirts before the order is placed first thing tomorrow morning.

This year’s shirt is completely different from last year’s and features a soft forest green tri-blend shirt that’s comfortable enough to wear long after race day.

If you want one, make sure you’re registered tonight or early tomorrow before the shirt order is submitted. These may be the best Cobra Den shirts we’ve done yet.

All participants registered for the full series or the Cape 5K / 10K by Thursday will receive the official 2026 Cobra Den Trail Series shirt.

Mamba women are redefining ultrarunning.

When we looked at the current registration numbers for this year’s Mamba weekend, one thing stood out immediately… women are showing up in a massive way across every distance.

🏃‍♀️ 40% of our 100-mile field is women
🏃‍♀️ Our 100K is nearly a perfect 50/50 split
🏃‍♀️ Women currently make up the majority of both our 50K and 25K fields

For ultramarathons — especially trail 100 milers — those are incredibly strong numbers.

But this is about more than percentages.

It’s about women proving every single day that they belong in ultrarunning. It’s about strength, resilience, courage, and the willingness to chase goals that once felt impossible.

To every woman showing up to the Mamba start line this November:

🏆 OFFICIAL LAST MAMBA STANDING TROPHY REVEAL 🏆

Here it is. The trophy that will be awarded to the ONE runner still standing at our inaugural Last Mamba Standing Backyard Ultra on September 26, 2026.

This trophy represents endurance, strategy, suffering, patience, and refusing to quit when everyone else has dropped. And honestly, there really isn’t another ultra running trophy out there like this one.
