Grab your rainbows and mark your calendars because Space Coast pride is back on September 26th and this year we are at a brand new home at the Melbourne Auditorium for indoor AND outdoor festivities that are more accessible and safer for everyone! The parade will kick off at 11am at Melbourne Auditorium and march its way through the heart of downtown Melbourne. FREE Pride shuttles at city parking lots will be available to transport guests to the Auditorium and the festival will run from noon to 6pm featuring dozens of local vendors, food trucks, a kid zone, and all day MainStage entertainment featuring Shuga Cain from Rupaul’s drag race! On August 22, we came to you with a $20,000 goal to help close the funding gap for Space Coast Pride.

And you didn’t just show up.

You showed the hell out.

Since then, our beautiful community has rallied together to raise $19,838.

That number includes new sponsorship pledges, individual online donations, Facebook fundraisers, vendor registrations, parade sign-ups, and people finding a way to contribute however they can.

$19,838.

And here’s the thing about grassroots Pride:

It may not have the deepest corporate pockets, but it has something far more powerful.

US.

We are no stranger to this.

Last year, the County Commissioners pulled our $5,000 in grant funding. We were crushed. But you? You rallied. And together, this community raised FOUR TIMES that amount.

That’s what happens when people believe in something.

Because Pride is not just a day in the sun.

Pride is a movement.
Pride is belonging.
Pride is showing up when it would be easier not to.
Pride is the safety net that holds us together.
