downtownART+SOUND

downtownART+SOUND is an eclectic 2-day celebration of art and music taking place throughout downtown Medford on September 19 and 20. Encompassing multiple indoor and outdoor stages, visitors will have the chance to experience an eclectic mix of local and touring musicians, paired with local artists in a variety of unique and distinct settings. Made possible through the generous support of sponsors like the Medford Arts Commission, Pacific Power, KISS FM, KOBI, and Travel Medford, downtownART+SOUND is a collaborative project between the Metro Medford Downtown Association, The Rogue Valley Messenger, artist Cammy Davis, and a handful of other community partners and supporters. The epicenter of the event is Pear Blossom Park, which will be home to the festival’s main stage, beer garden, food carts, and art-themed vendors. Gypsy Blues Bar will host a second outdoor stage in the parking lot at W 8th and S Holly Streets. Some events are free to attend, including Friday night opening ceremonies and music at Pear Blossom Park. Most events are ticketed with a variety of affordable ticketing options. Attendees may purchase weekend passes, Friday or Saturday passes, or pay a standard cover at individual venues. Friday/Saturday/weekend passes allow festival goers entry into all venues. Tickets for individual venues will not be sold in advance and festival pass holders receive priority entry in case of at-capacity events. A limited number of VIP tickets are also available. VIP passes include: - No waiting in general admission lines and guaranteed entry to all sold-out shows - Access to the musicians’ hospitality lounge all weekend, with complementary food and libations - VIP only access to a very special art and music presentation at the historic Holly Theatre - VIP only pre-party on Thursday, Sept. 18 with the artists and event promoters - downtownArt+Sound T-shirt Minors are allowed at some venues.
