It's swag reveal time!

The Pineland Striders Independence Day Races are less than two weeks away (Saturday, June 27 at Shawnee High School in Medford, NJ). We're getting so excited for race day that we decided to share the wealth and finally reveal this year's premium race swag!

The first 300 runners to register for the 5K or 10K will each receive a custom-designed car seat cover towel!

Sweaty after a long run and can't wait a second longer for the sweet relief of AC? Took an unexpected swim while paddleboarding? Spent too long in the pool and don't have time to dry off before your next errand? Didn't quite make it to the porta-potty in time? Whatever reason you have for not wanting to defile your car seats with your stanky self, your new Pineland Striders car seat cover will keep your interior clean in style.

These seat covers are durable, machine-washable, and comfortable. They're also sure to become collector's items because they're the first race swag to feature the brand-new logo for the ID Races! Even better, they come in either red or blue--you get to pick your preferred color at bib pickup! (Color preferences will be honored first-come, first-served while supplies last.) Want both colors for a complete set? Additional towels may be available for sale at the race depending on supply.

Pre-race registration will remain open until 11:59pm on Wednesday, June 24 ($55 for the 10K and $50 for the 5K). Day-of registration will be available, but if you wait until that morning, you might miss out on this premium swag.

Don't feel like running? We are always looking for additional volunteers. Proceeds from the race fund two scholarships for student athletes, with the rest donated to the Food Bank of South Jersey. We will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items at the race. If you're not able to make it, consider making a donation through the race page to support this worthy organization.

Stay hydrated on those remaining training runs, and we'll see you on June 27th!

It's finally time! Register now for the 47th Pineland Striders Independence Day Races!

Race day is Saturday, June 27 at Shawnee High School (Medford, NJ). Choose from the 10K, 5K or free kids' fun run!

Pop quiz: what's the term for a 250th anniversary? It's a semiquincentennial! Celebrate America's semiquincentennial by joining the Pineland Striders for your favorite summer race!

The 10K and 5K are as fast and flat as ever. As usual, we've got some killer swag planned, but we're not ready to reveal it just yet. Make sure to register early to ensure you get yours.

Proceeds from this year's race will fund two scholarships for Shawnee HS student-athletes, with the remainder being donated to the Food Bank of South Jersey. Additional donations can be made through the race page in case you're unable to join us or are feeling charitable. We'll also be accepting donations of non-perishable food items at the race.

In honor of the Boston Marathon, you'll get to register at the lowest price for the 10K and 5K. The price increases at 12:00am on Tuesday, 4/21. These savings will dissolve quicker than tea bags in the Boston Harbor, so act now! (Yes, I know that metaphor's a bit strained.)

As always, we rely on a crack team of volunteers to make these races happen. If you'd like to join the team, please register through the volunteer section of the race page.

The Pineland Striders Independence Day Races is on Saturday June 28, 2025. It includes the following events: 10K, 5K, and Kids Fun Run.
