Here’s a fun look at what happened at our PEARL experience during Breathe 2025. A beautiful group of ladies came out in the rain to hear some vulnerable testimonies, create, and reclaim their value. Thanks to everyone to who came out, supported us along the way, and help plan and set up the whole thing. God is Good! We can’t wait to see what He has planned for next year.

Today is the day! It’s time for our 2nd annual Breathe Conference. Join us as we learn from Roxanna Grimes and a few local ladies what the transforming power of God can do in our lives. Let’s reclaim our value! You are found, loved, and valued in the heart of God.

SO Breathe Free exists to bring women together to encourage one another in walk with Christ. We want to break free from lies that hold us back from our callings and grow deeper in our relationship with God.

Did you know that in some cultures, women are the traditional pearl divers? Japanese Ama and Korean Haenyeo are female free-divers who have a history of diving for pearls for centuries. They have developed unique skills and a deep cultural connection to the ocean, with the Haenyeo even showing genetic adaptations that make them better suited for diving.

We are one month away from our PEARL experience at Breathe 2025. I thought it would be fun to share some interesting facts about pearls while we wait.

Here is fact number 2: Natural pearls are one of the rarest jewels. Did you know that less than 1 in every 10,000 wild oysters contain pearls. Because of their popularity, oyster beds in the ocean’s waters have become severely depleted from overfishing. Despite the rise of cultured pearls, the population of wild oysters still hasn’t completely recovered. Given that, it’s understandable why people consider natural pearls one of the rarest jewels on the planet.

Did you know that Pearls are the only gemstone to come from a living organism? Despite being classified as a gemstone, pearls are significantly different from all others. Pearls come from a living creature while all the other gemstones like sapphire, ruby, emeralds, and diamonds are formed as magma cools under high pressure.
